ABOUT

Sarah Baniak is a Documentary and News Producer with a focus on reporting underrepresented stories, particularly those involving sexual assault, systems of oppression, and abuse. She has also produced women-led narratives that highlight the resilience of those who seek justice, living in conflict zones worldwide. Currently an Associate Producer at ABC News, Sarah was nominated for a Documentary & News Emmy and received a Gracies Award for Hard News Storytelling for her work on Battle Cry, a long-form documentary, that exposed two overlooked cases of sexual assault in the military.
