ABOUT
Sarah Baniak is a Documentary and News Producer with a focus on reporting underrepresented stories, particularly those involving sexual assault, systems of oppression, and abuse. She has also produced women-led narratives that highlight the resilience of those who seek justice, living in conflict zones worldwide. Currently an Associate Producer at ABC News, Sarah was nominated for a Documentary & News Emmy and received a Gracies Award for Hard News Storytelling for her work on Battle Cry, a long-form documentary, that exposed two overlooked cases of sexual assault in the military. Through her work, Sarah aims to amplify the voices of those often ignored, shedding light on events, individuals, and underreported issues.
